Spiaggia Nord

Italy Lake 1 - Excellent

Spiaggia Nord is a pebbly and grassy beach located on Lago di Cei in the Trentino Alto Adige region. The beach has a medium and consistent slope between the emerged and submerged zones. It is approximately 40 metres long and 10 to 20 metres wide, attracting around 10 to 15 bathers per day during the mid-June to mid-September period. The lake is situated in a valley basin at approximately 900 metres altitude, surrounded by meadows and beech and conifer forests.

Facilities

Two permanent toilet facilities (one on the east side and one on the west side). Lifeguard service ('safe beach' programme) operates during July and August. Animals are permitted.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent for the years 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. No point sources of pollution have been identified. Wastewater collected through the municipal network is conveyed to the Aldeno treatment plant. No short-duration pollution events have been detected. No anomalous situations have been recorded in the past 4 years.
