Salice Beach is a pebble beach located on the eastern shore of Lake Como in the municipality of Lezzeno, Lombardia. The beach spans approximately 70 metres in width and sits at an altitude of 202 metres above sea level. Water quality at this bathing site has been classified as excellent for the reference period 2019–2022.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (reference period 2019–2022). No cyanobacterial threshold exceedances have been recorded in the past four years. No toxic events affecting swimmers or aquatic environments have been documented.

Risks

Possible pollution sources include unfavourable meteorological conditions such as strong atmospheric events, soil washing, water accumulation, and accidental or unauthorised discharges of liquids or contaminants. No cyanobacterial proliferation pressures from known anthropogenic activities.
