Torre di Mezzo is a sandy beach with a gently sloping sandy seabed, enclosed between two rocky promontories. The beach is backed by dune ridges and typical Mediterranean scrubland vegetation. The area experiences a dry subtropical climate with hot summers and modest winter precipitation. Beach width is 15 metres, and the bathing area extends 0.6 kilometres along the coast.

Risks

Coastal erosion is visible in the area. Heavy rainfall can cause discharge of stormwater and overflow structures into the bathing water. No cyanobacterial proliferation or macroalgae/phytoplankton proliferation has been documented in the last four years.
