Štěrkovna Hlučín is a natural lake formed by flooding a former gravel pit, located in the Hlučín area. It attracts high visitor numbers during the recreational season and offers excellent amenities for visitors. Water quality has been generally rated as suitable for bathing based on monitoring by the regional health authority, with the exception of 2006, 2016, and August 2021 when higher cyanobacteria concentrations were detected. In 2022, warnings of deteriorated water quality were issued due to suspected cases of cercarial dermatitis.
