A bathing area located at the Saint Constantine and Helena resort complex near Varna, Bulgaria, situated within a mineral spring thermal spa facility. The beach is small with fine-grained sand and is divided into two sections by the Svetikonstadinskо stream. The area is highly urbanized and part of an extensive resort park containing coniferous and deciduous trees. The beach measures approximately 100 meters in length and is accessible by private and public transport.

Location

Varna region, northeastern Black Sea coastal district, Bulgaria. Located within the Saint Constantine and Helena resort complex with access by personal and public transport. Limited access from the resort basin.

Facilities

One rescue post, sanitary facilities, showers, changing rooms, one medical point near the basin, disabled access ensured. Dogs prohibited. Partially unguarded beach.

Water Quality

Water quality classifications from 2007–2021: 2007 poor (not compliant with mandatory values); 2008–2016 excellent (compliant with guide values); 2017 good; 2018 sufficient; 2019–2020 good; 2021 excellent. Potential sources of short-term contamination include the Sunchev Den wastewater treatment plant (PSOV) and the Svetikonstadinskо stream watershed, which carries risk of unregulated wastewater discharge due to its length.
