A small beach in the Sv. Konstantin i Elena resort complex located in the northeastern Black Sea coastal region of Bulgaria. The beach features fine-grained sand and is situated within a large park with mineral springs used for hot water pools and balneological facilities. The beach is 200 meters long and is accessible by personal and public transport. It accommodates 50–150 visitors.

Varna region, northeastern Bulgaria. Located within the Sv. Konstantin i Elena resort complex. Accessible by personal and public transport.

Facilities

One lifeguard post, toilet facilities, showers, changing rooms, medical point. Accessible facilities for persons with disabilities.

Season

Monitoring conducted June through September. Temperature data recorded for June, July, August, and September.

Water Quality

Water quality has been monitored annually from 2007 to 2021. Compliant with guide values and excellent classification from 2007–2010. Compliant with mandatory values, good or sufficient in 2011–2012. Excellent water quality from 2013–2016. Good water quality from 2017–2020. Excellent in 2021. Potential short-term pollution from WWTP 'Sunchev Den' and from Svetikonstaninsko stream due to possible unregulated wastewater discharges.

Risks

Potential short-term pollution from WWTP 'Sunchev Den'. Svetikonstaninsko stream has potential for unregulated wastewater discharges due to its significant length. The WWTP 'Sunchev Den' performs only mechanical wastewater treatment.
