Location

Located at the end of Birkebækvej in Vellerup with parking available. A bus stop is situated at the corner between Birkebækvej and Nordvejen.

Parking available. No lifeguards. No toilets. No disabled access. No bathing jetty. No life-saving equipment.

Season

April to October (summer season). Monitoring occurs during the bathing season.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (Grade 4). Monitoring station DKBW 1935 conducts sampling during the bathing season.

Risks

Low risk of cyanobacteria blooms, which may occur rarely during several days of calm warm weather. Low risk of macroalgae and phytoplankton blooms, though seaweed may occasionally appear. Wastewater impacts possible during very heavy rainfall, with pollution duration dependent on rainfall intensity and current and wind conditions, lasting up to 3 days after the event.
