Villa Motta is a bathing area located on Lake Orta in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. The beach consists of a concrete promenade and has a width of 555 metres. It is a freely accessible public beach situated outside the historic town centre, offering direct access to the lake.

The area is regularly connected to a sewage system; the treatment plant is located approximately 10 km north of the sampling point. Pressure classification: HIGH, characterised by significant sewage network (Class V) with built-up areas in Class III.

Risks

Intense precipitation can trigger overflow structures. Accidental failures of lifting installations may discharge untreated wastewater into the lake.
