The beach is sandy with a linear slope in both emerged and submerged sections. It is located in the northern peripheral area of the Villa Rosa district. The beach has an average width of approximately 75 metres along a total length of about 1,300 metres. It experiences an estimated 4,500 daily swimmers during high season. The water is classified as excellent quality.

Location

Located in Martinsicuro, Teramo province, Abruzzo region, in the northern peripheral area of the Villa Rosa district. Parking is available. Bicycle and pedestrian paths provide access.

Lifeguard assistance and first aid services. Public toilets for swimmers and facilities within accommodation facilities with disabled access. Parking. Bicycle and pedestrian paths. Shopping centre. Restaurants and bars. Camping. Some beach establishments rent skates and canoes.

Monitoring conducted April to September.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. Monitoring is conducted annually by ARTA Teramo from April to September. No evidence of untreated wastewater discharge impacting the bathing water. Wastewater from the entire area is conveyed through a sewer network to a treatment plant located north-east of the municipal territory.
