Possible short-term pollution risks include accidental or unauthorised discharges of sewage or contaminant debris, as well as land runoff, stagnant water, and various spills during unfavourable weather conditions. No previous cyanobacterial proliferation events or macro-algae proliferation events were recorded in the last four years. No toxic effects to swimmers or aquatic environment have been registered.
