Wallersee is a natural lake located in the Salzburg Alpine foothills, bounded by terminal moraines of the Würm glacier. The lake has a maximum depth of 23.3 meters and a mean depth of 13.0 meters, with a surface area of approximately 5.9 square kilometers. The bathing area at Neumarkt is a public beach facility on this glacial lake.
