The bathing area is located in front of Via L'Aquila in Roseto degli Abruzzi and consists of a sandy beach approximately 100 metres wide with exposed rocky cliffs. The area is classified as coastal waters with medium stability. The beach is situated in a flat terrain extending westward for about 800 metres before reaching foothills.

Coastal marine waters with an area of 0.670 km². The water body drains into the sea. Waters are located in a flat to gently sloping terrain.

Location

Roseto degli Abruzzi, Teramo Province, Abruzzo Region. The area is administered by the Mayor's office at Piazza della Repubblica n. 1, 64026 Roseto degli Abruzzi. The Port Authority office is located at Lungomare Trieste n. 1, 64026 Roseto degli Abruzzi.

Facilities

Beach establishments with assistance and first aid services, disabled access services, sanitary facilities, and food service points. Animals are prohibited due to regional animal control ordinance.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is EXCELLENT. A separate sewerage system collects wastewater and conveys it to a treatment plant located in Scerne, Pineto municipality, serving both Pineto and the southern and central zones of Roseto degli Abruzzi. The treatment plant operates two activated sludge lines and three biodisk lines with final disinfection. Treated effluent complies with limits set by Italian Legislative Decree 152/06. No active specific monitoring measures are currently in place.
