Zorn Beach is a bathing water location in the municipality of Plouguerneau in Brittany, France. The beach features rocky features and access via stairs and a slipway. The bathing zone is subject to monitoring and assessment according to European bathing water directives. A comprehensive bathwater profile was developed and revised in 2017 to identify pollution sources and manage water quality.

Water Quality

Water quality classification assessed according to Directive 2006/7/CE. Monitoring results from 2013–2016 were used to classify bathing water quality. Bacterial contamination sources identified including agricultural runoff, non-collective sanitation systems, collective wastewater treatment, and stormwater networks.

Identified pollution sources include permanent natural flows, agricultural activities, non-collective sanitation installations, collective wastewater systems, stormwater drainage networks, and other potential pollution sources. Rainfall influences pollution episodes.
