A bathing water area located 100 meters to the right of the Torrente Cino Piccolo in Rossano, Calabria. The beach features a sandy-pebbly composition with a geomorphological character typical of straight coastal shorelines. The seabed has an average slope of 2.5% from the waterline to the 5-meter isobath, with single bars and cordons present. The beach sediment is classified as medium granule material.

Location

Rossano, Cosenza province, Calabria region. The bathing area is situated in front of agricultural territories south of the Torrente Grammisato.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. No specific active protective measures are currently in place.

Risks

Short-duration pollution events related to runoff from agricultural areas have been identified. However, the sea and internal waters have not been affected by algal blooms or cyanobacterial proliferation in the past four years.
