The beach features sandy-pebbly sediments with a geomorphological descriptor of straight coastal shore. The seabed slope from the waterline to the 5-metre isobath averages 2.5%, with single bars or ridges and medium-sized sediment granules. The bathing area extends over 0.431 square kilometres.

Short-duration pollution events from runoff have been identified, with sources including urban areas and agricultural areas. No cyanobacterial blooms or algal proliferation have occurred in the past four years in either marine or inland waters.
