A sandy beach with a gentle slope located in Martinsicuro, Abruzzo, outside the urban center. The beach extends approximately 880 meters with an average width of 90 meters and includes a coastal biotope. During peak season, it attracts approximately 3,000 swimmers daily with lower density compared to other central beach areas due to greater distance from services and beach width.

Martinsicuro, Abruzzo province, Teramo region, outside the urban center. Nearby services include assistance and first aid facilities, hygienic facilities, car parking, cycling and pedestrian paths, restaurants and bars.

April to September (monitoring period).

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. Annual monitoring conducted by ARTA Teramo from April to September. No evidence of untreated wastewater discharge impacting the bathing water. No cyanobacteria blooms recorded in the Abruzzo marine waters.

Risks

No anomalous events recorded. Marine waters show sparse algal blooms during summer months; past years showed some dinoflagellate blooms with scarce or no toxic species present.
