Nord for Rungsted Havn, accessible via Bus 388 along Rundsted Strandvej. Hørsholm Kommune owns a smaller beach plot; other areas are private. Access and temporary stays such as bathing are permitted along the water.

Water quality is monitored via the bathing water model on badevand.dk, accessible as a smartphone app. A minimum of 10 water quality samples are taken during the bathing season from June to August.

Risks

Sewage overflow from coastal sewers is possible during heavy rainfall; water quality should be monitored carefully during heavy rain events. Blue-green algae risk exists when water temperature remains high (approximately 20°C) for extended periods. Do not bathe if feet are not visible when water reaches knee depth.
