Badesee Karlshof is an inland lake that developed from a former gravel pit worked until the late 1970s. After gravel extraction ended, the site was converted into a weekend house residential area. The lake features a larger sunbathing meadow and a non-swimmer area near the entrance. Water quality is regularly tested by the health authority with consistently excellent results.
