Coastal water body (Laigueglia-Albenga). Mixed pebble and sandy beach with piers. Area extension: 0.915 km². Located in an alluvial plain influenced by the Centa River.

Albenga, Province of Savona, Liguria. The competent authority is the Municipality of Albenga (Piazza San Michele, 17). Nearest coast guard station: Lungomare Matteotti n. 4/b, 17100. Contact: tel 019856666.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: EXCELLENT (2008–2011). No coastal treatment plants, sewage conduits, or Imhoff tanks are present. The Ligurian Sea is characterized by oligotrophic conditions and is not affected by cyanobacterial blooms. No cases of potentially toxic algal strains have been recorded in the last four years.
