Coastal water body (Laigueglia-Albenga). Located in a fluvial plain with the Centa River as the hydrographic basin. Classified as coastal waters with mountainous terrain and low stability.

Location

Facilities

Private beach facilities with associated services. Emergency services available: 118 and 115.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2008–2011). No coastal treatment plants or Imhoff tanks are present. Currently, no special monitoring measures or specific evaluations are activated. The Ligurian Sea is characterised by oligotrophic conditions and is not affected by cyanobacterial blooms.

Risks

The Ligurian Sea has not experienced cases of potentially toxic algal strain proliferation in the past four years. Cyanobacterial blooms are not characteristic of the area due to oligotrophic conditions.
