Croce is a narrow, pebbly beach in Pesaro, Marche region, with rocky outcrops on the rapidly sloping seafloor. A cliff face prone to rockfalls borders the beach closely, and both submerged and exposed rocky reefs are present.

Location

Pesaro, Marche region, Pesaro Urbino province. Beach area extends 1.79735 square units. Managed by Municipal Police (tel 0721 387800).

Equipped public beach with lifeguard service.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: E (as of profile date 01/02/2011, updated 01/02/2012). No pollution sources identified that affect bathing water quality. Wastewater treatment is managed by five treatment plants across the territory, with the largest at Borgheria near the mouth of the Foglia River, serving Pesaro's urban core with capacity of approximately 90,000 population equivalents and throughput of approximately 20,000 m³/day. All regulatory parameter controls conform to legal limits.
