Øvre (syd) is a bathing beach on the eastern side of Endelave island, approximately 1.5 km long with sand mixed with gravel and stones. The beach extends 10–20 metres wide, with sand and scattered stones extending 50–100 metres into the water. The surrounding area is a protected natural reserve comprising beach plains, plantations, heathland, marshes, and small lakes. The water has been classified as excellent quality based on data from the previous year and three preceding bathing seasons.
