Plage de la Grande dune is a bathing beach located in Sainte-Marie-du-Mont. The beach is situated in the Baie des Veys area and has been subject to regular water quality monitoring under European bathing water directives. The beach experienced sufficient water quality at the end of the 2013 swimming season. The bathing zone is subject to various potential pollution sources including domestic wastewater, agricultural activities, and other coastal discharges.
