Foz do Lizandro - Mar is a long sandy beach located at the mouth of Rio Lizandro. The beach has considerable extension and offers good support infrastructures including several bars and restaurants for bathers.

Risks

Short-term pollution events may occur due to excessive river discharge from Rio Lizandro during rainfall, though such events are rare and typically do not exceed 1-2 days. Cyanobacteria, macroalgae, and phytoplankton proliferation are unlikely. No bathing advisories or prohibitions were issued due to short-term pollution in the 2020 bathing season.
