Freibad Tonkuhle is a bathing facility located at Tannenweg in Vechta that originated from a clay pit created by extraction for the neighbouring Vormoor brick factory, which operated until 1967. The site has been used as a bathing area since 1932 due to its idyllic location and good water quality. It was converted into a natural bathing area in 1990 and features a sandy beach that is particularly popular with families. The facility now operates as Toncoole and includes a Bavarian beer garden.
