Timmeler Meer is an artificial inland lake located near Timmel in East Friesland with access to the Ems River and Ems-Jade Canal. Created in the 1980s, it serves both tourism and local recreation. The lake is directly connected to the Boekzeteler Meer nature reserve. It features a bathing beach and leisure harbour, surrounded by holiday homes and camping sites.
