Glænø Strand is a relatively small beach on the open coast of Smålandsfarvandet, oriented toward the south. The beach is between 10 and 20 meters wide and approximately 440 meters long, bordered inland by vegetation. The seabed to a depth of 2 meters consists of sand with seaweed in the trough, with the first reef formation between 40 and 60 meters from the shore. Water depth at the beach is relatively small, ranging from 140 to 250 meters to a 2-meter depth, though depths vary due to tidal movements, currents, and weather conditions.
