Glyki Nero is a wide sandy beach located in a natural bay in Ayia Napa, Cyprus. The beach is 130 metres long with an average water depth of 0.8 metres and a maximum depth of 2.5 metres. Vegetation on the beach consists mainly of ornamental plants from adjacent hotels and palm trees, with large hotel complexes and dining facilities situated on elevated ground above the shoreline. The beach has been awarded Blue Flag status and can accommodate a maximum of 1800 daily swimmers.
