Grado - Isola di Morgo Ovest is a sandy beach bathing area located on a coastal barrier in a lagoon environment. It is situated in the Grado-Morgo water body within the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. The beach has been classified as excellent quality based on monitoring data from 2015-2018, with stable water quality conditions over the monitored bathing seasons. No sustained eutrophic phenomena caused by cyanobacteria have been recorded, and no cases of potentially toxic algal proliferation have been detected.

Located in Grado, Gorizia Province, Friuli Venezia Giulia region, Italy. Coordinates: centre at 45.695827°N, 13.301259°E. The bathing area extends from 45.701338°N, 13.296290°E to 45.693360°N, 13.310680°E.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (reference years 2015-2018). Escherichia coli (90th percentile): 17 CFU/100ml, (95th percentile): 19 CFU/100ml. Intestinal enterococci (90th percentile): 15 CFU/100ml, (95th percentile): 23 CFU/100ml. No variations in water quality were observed across bathing seasons 2015-2018. No short-duration pollution events were recorded in 2015, 2016, 2017, or 2018.
