Grado - Marina di Macia is a sandy beach located in a lagoon coastal strip area within the Marano and Grado lagoon tributaries in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. The bathing water is classified as excellent based on monitoring data from 2015–2018. No sustained eutrophic phenomena caused by cyanobacteria have been recorded, and no cases of potentially toxic algal proliferation have been detected.

Water Quality

Classification: Excellent (reference years 2015–2018). Escherichia coli 90th percentile: 15 CFU/100 ml, 95th percentile: 17 CFU/100 ml. Intestinal enterococci 90th percentile: 14 CFU/100 ml, 95th percentile: 22 CFU/100 ml. No quality variations detected during the 2015–2018 bathing seasons. No short-duration pollution events recorded in 2015, 2016, 2017, or 2018.
