Hedensted Søerne is a collection of freshwater lakes formed in a former gravel pit located west of Hedensted town. The area comprises seven larger and smaller lakes and has been designated as a recreational zone with walking and cycling paths around the lakes. A designated bathing area is established in one of the largest northern lakes, with a gently sloping bottom suitable for children up to approximately 2 metres depth.
