Hestehovedet is a family-friendly artificial beach in Nakskov, Denmark, 165 meters long and 20–30 meters wide, composed of fine sand with an equally sandy seabed. Water

Brackish water in the Nakskov Fjord. Water depth increases gradually offshore and remains under 2 meters at 600 meters from the shore. Current direction is variable with no dominant current.

Location

Located near Nakskov on the Nakskov Fjord. Access is via Strandpromenaden, which ends at a parking lot with toilet and disabled facilities. A green recreational area and restaurant are situated at the parking area.
