Hyllingeriis Strand is a bathing beach located in front of a summer house area. The beach features a small green recreational area with mowed walking paths leading to and along the shoreline. The water has a soft sandy bottom with scattered stones and is brackish water with salinity between 1–2%. The beach is monitored for water quality with four samples collected per bathing season.

Brackish water body with salinity of 1–2%. The seabed consists of soft sand with scattered stones. Current direction follows wind direction.

Location

Hyllingeriis summer house area. Access to the beach is at Hyllingeriis numbers 203, 197, and 194. Parking is available along the roads.

Facilities

Bathing platform (yes, maintained by the property owners association); lifeguard (no); disabled access facilities (no); toilets (no); bench available; parking along the roads (no dedicated parking area).

Season

Summer season from April to October; Winter season from October to March.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is Excellent (class 4). Monitoring station number 134 conducts control monitoring with four samples per bathing season. During heavy rainfall, there may be some impact from wastewater, with pollution duration dependent on the size of the event and current and wind conditions (up to 3 days after the event).

Risks

Low risk of cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) blooms, which can occur rarely during several days of calm, warm weather. Low risk of macroalgae and/or phytoplankton blooms; seaweed may occasionally occur.
