The bathing area is located at kilometer 424.100 on State Road 16 near Pineto in Abruzzo. The beach features a mixed sandy and pebbly shoreline with an average width of 25 meters. The waters are classified as excellent quality. The area experiences occasional algal blooms in summer, though past occurrences of dinoflagellates showed minimal or no toxic species.

Pineto, Teramo Province, Abruzzo region, at kilometer 424.100 on State Road 16. The competent authority is the Municipality of Pineto, Public Works, Maintenance and Environment Department, Via Milano, 1, 64025 Pineto, Tel./fax 085/9497220.

Facilities

Private concessionaires operate facilities on the beach. Public services are not present in the area. Animal access is permitted as regulated by Regional Law 19 of 17 April 2014.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. All wastewater is treated at a purification plant located in contrada Piane Vomano on municipal territory and managed by Ruzzo Servizi S.p.A. for ATO n. 5 'Teramano'. No industrial or urban discharge occurs near the beach. No cyanobacterial blooms have been observed in recent years.
