The beach extends approximately 300 meters from the road Havbakken southward to the mouth of Skellerup Å stream. The beach is stony and gravelly with small amounts of sand, approximately 10 meters wide. Water depth increases gradually, with the 2-meter depth mark located 100–150 meters from shore. The water is classified as good quality.

Coastal bathing water in Knebel Bay. The beach is stony and gravelly, approximately 10 meters wide. Water depth is shallow near shore, with the 2-meter depth mark situated 100–150 meters offshore. Salinity is approximately 25 ‰. Water temperature varies between 15 °C and 22 °C during the bathing season. The Skellerup Å stream has its outlet immediately south of the beach.

Location

Knebel Strand is located immediately south of Knebel town in Syddjurs Municipality. Access is via Havbakken road, which is not marked with signs. No designated parking spaces are available, though individual vehicles may be parked between sunrise and sunset.
