Laguna La Salvadora is a permanent karstic limestone lake located southeast of Ruidera in Castilla la Mancha. It forms part of the Ruidera Lakes Natural Park, an exceptional wetland system in the region. The lagoon has an oval shape with approximately 450 meters diameter and receives water from Laguna Lengua through a surface cascade feature. It drains to the next lagoon (Santos Morcillo) and during periods of high water flow, creates visible waterfalls.

Natural permanent karstic limestone lake. The lagoon measures approximately 450 meters in diameter. The streambed consists of fine to medium sands. The beach comprises exposed limestone soil with sparse herbaceous vegetation and medium sands. Water originates from both surface inflow and underground sources within the Campo de Montiel aquifer system.

Location

Southeast of Ruidera in Ossa de Montiel, Albacete Province, Castilla la Mancha. Access: from Ruidera, take direction toward Ossa de Montiel (turn right toward Lagunas de Ruidera), follow CR-650 road past Albergue Juvenil Alonso Quijano and past Santos Morcillo lagoon. Parking available.
