Plage des Roches Brûnes is a 100-meter semi-enclosed beach in the commune of Six-Fours, oriented southwest. The beach is composed of sand and small pebbles and receives moderate bathing frequency. The Mediterranean Park overlooks the beach, and a small activity zone is located at its edge.

Location

Six-Fours, accessible via RD 616. Delimited northwest by Pointe Nègre and south by Port de la Coudoulière. Parking area available.

Facilities

Lifeguard post, shower, Mediterranean Park nearby, activity zone and diving center connected to municipal wastewater network.

Season

June 15 to September 15.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Good (2002–2008 DDASS monitoring). Exception in 2002 when quality was classified as average. Vulnerability index: Low. Algal bloom risk: Low. Main pollution sources include Port de la Coudoulière (medium risk of contaminated water discharge), storm water collectors (low risk of bacterial pollution from street runoff), and the pumping station network (low risk of overflow during malfunction).

Risks

Potential bacterial pollution from storm water runoff during rain events. Risk of wastewater overflow during pumping station malfunction. Neighboring beaches (Coudoulière) potentially affected by pollution during dominant wind conditions.
