The beach spans 77 metres in width and is situated at an altitude of 210 metres above sea level. Water quality is classified as excellent based on routine monitoring samples collected between 2020 and 2023. The area is used for water sports in addition to bathing.

Enterococcci 90th percentile: 44.2 MPN/100 ml, 95th percentile: 80.9 MPN/100 ml. A sewage overflow outlet and pumping station are located 200 metres from the sampling point; a wastewater treatment plant is located 2 kilometres away.

Risks

High-pressure pollution class determined by high density of sewage pipes. A sewage overflow outlet and pumping station are present 200 metres from the beach. A watercourse 500 metres away may compromise water quality during heavy rainfall. Intense precipitation can trigger overflow mechanisms and accidental failures of pumping equipment, introducing untreated sewage into the lake. Inadequate management of the sewage network is a potential pollution source.
