Classification: GOOD. Based on 21 routine samples from 2021–2024. Escherichia coli 90th percentile: 156.3 MPN/100 ml; 95th percentile: 329.1 MPN/100 ml. Enterococci 90th percentile: 156.7 MPN/100 ml; 95th percentile: 323.5 MPN/100 ml. The area falls within the homogeneous zone Maggiore 12 with HIGH pressure classification due to high density of sewerage conduits.

Risks

Heavy rainfall can trigger overflow structures. Accidental failures of pumping systems may discharge untreated effluent into the lake. Nearby sewerage overflow, a pumping station, and a discharge facility are present within the area of influence. No cyanobacterial or macroalgae proliferation has been observed.
