Møllestenen at Torderup Badestrand is a bathing beach located between Hou and Hals in a summer house area. The beach has a sandy bottom and stretches approximately 3 kilometres in length with a width of 10–50 metres. Water depth reaches approximately 1.5 metres at 300 metres from the shore. The bathing water is classified as excellent based on monitoring of indicator bacteria (E. coli and intestinal enterococci) over the last four years.

Coastal salt water body (Kattegat). Beach length approximately 3 km, width 10–50 m. Sand bottom and beach surface. Depth approximately 1.5 m at 300 m from shore. Salinity typically 18–32 ‰. Dominant current direction toward the north.

Location

Located between Hou and Hals in a summer house area. There is no public toilet, life jacket facility, or waste bin available.

Risks

Macroalgae (seaweed) may occur at the water's edge; bathing near large accumulations is discouraged due to potential toxin production and bacteria survival in decaying algae. Risk of cyanobacteria bloom. Glass shards, litter, and chemical contamination including oil spills occasionally occur. Watercourses discharging into the sea carry high bacterial content and bathing in stream outlets is discouraged.
