Vilches is a natural Mediterranean coastal bathing water located in Torrox, Málaga, in Andalucía. The beach is 280 metres long with an average width of 20 metres and features dark sand. It experiences moderate wave conditions and has low occupancy. The water body is characterized by deep waters with muddy-sandy substrate and a micromareal tidal range of 0–2 metres.

Wave exposure moderate with dominant waves from the east and east-southeast associated with levante wind. Annual precipitation 400–600 mm with torrentiality index of 25–50%.

Torrox, Málaga, Andalucía. Located along the Málaga coast between Rincón de la Victoria and the Maro Cliffs Nature Reserve. Access by car available. Pasarelas (wooden walkways) present.

Classified as Excellent for swimming seasons 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. Low risk of short-duration contamination from diffuse sources including land use and natural forest surfaces in the influence zone. Risk assessment conducted using deterministic methodology according to UNE 150008 standard.
