Water quality classification: Excellent. Based on 18 routine samples from 2020–2023. Escherichia coli 90th percentile: 10.4 MPN/100 ml; 95th percentile: 15.8 MPN/100 ml. Enterococci 90th percentile: 23.7 MPN/100 ml; 95th percentile: 38.2 MPN/100 ml. The bathing area is characterised by medium-high pressure from wastewater (class IV), treatment plants (class III), and built-up areas (class II).

Risks

Intense rainfall can trigger overflow structures and accidental failures of lifting systems, leading to untreated sewage discharge into the lake. Improper management of the sewage network is a potential pollution source. No cyanobacterial monitoring is currently conducted in this zone. No macroalgal, phytoplankton, or harmful species proliferation has been detected.
