Charco de la Nutria is a bathing area in the Ruecas River located northwest of the town of Cañamero in Extremadura, Spain. The river reach features a single channel with low sinuosity and is situated below the Cancho del Fresno reservoir. The bathing zone is delimited by large natural rock blocks and is set within a Mediterranean low-mountain siliceous river system. The area is situated within the Villuercas Ibores Jara Geopark and is surrounded by riparian vegetation including alders, ash trees, and willows, along with extensive pine and cork oak forests.
