Location

Public showers. The beach is free and equipped. Dogs are permitted with no local ordinances or signage prohibiting access.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. The bathing area is subject to potential pollution from treated wastewater discharged via submarine pipeline, agricultural activities, intense urbanization, and untreated urban sewage. White water discharge and overflow from flood relief structures are identified as pollution sources.

Risks

Heavy precipitation can cause overflow of stormwater that is conveyed into the bathing waters. No cyanobacterial or macroalgae proliferation events were recorded in the previous four years.
