Lyngså Strand is a sandy beach with a sand bottom located along approximately 4 kilometers of coastline. The beach width varies from 20 to 30 meters. Several minor watercourses including Klitbækken and Korrebækken discharge into the area. The water is shallow, with depths of approximately 0.5 meters at 20 meters from shore, 1 meter at 40 meters, and 1.5 meters at 50 meters. The water is salty with weak currents flowing primarily toward the north and east from varying directions.
