Voerså Strand is a vegetated sandy beach often with seaweed at the water's edge, featuring a sand bottom. The beach extension varies considerably from year to year, ranging from 0 to approximately 200 meters in length, with widths varying from 0 to approximately 50 meters. The water is very shallow, approximately 0.5 meters deep at the sampling point and reaching approximately 1.0 meter depth about 100 meters towards the southeast. The water is salt with weak currents from varying directions. The water is clear following heavy rainfall with visibility exceeding 1 meter, few or no algae are present, and there are no cyanobacteria.
