Zona Demola is a small cove bathing area located in Pieve Ligure, Liguria, characterized by a rocky coastline with cliffs closing eastward. The water body forms part of the Genova - Camogli water body. The area has been classified as excellent for water quality during the 2008-2011 monitoring period.

Water Quality

Water quality classified as Excellent for the period 2008-2011. No wastewater treatment plants, discharge pipes, or Imhoff systems are present in the coastal area. Cyanobacterial blooms do not occur due to oligotrophic conditions of the Ligurian Sea. No toxic algal strains have been recorded in the last four years.

Risks

Cyanobacteria and toxic algal proliferation potential is absent due to oligotrophic conditions in the Ligurian Sea.
