Ågerup Strandpark is located in Kalundborg Municipality, Denmark. Car access is available via Strandparkvej, which terminates at a parking area. A marina with toilet facilities is located at the parking area. Alternative access points exist via Sejerøvej and Hvedevej, but these have no parking facilities.

The station was established in 2024 and has not yet received a classification. Classification is expected to take three years. Water quality monitoring is conducted at least four times per year. A drainage outlet near Hvedevej toward the marina is identified as a potential source of fecal contamination, with dominant southwestward currents presenting a risk.

Risks

Drainage outlet near Hvedevej poses a risk of fecal contamination given prevailing current directions. Short-term contamination events typically occur after heavy rainfall causing overflow in drains and streams, lasting up to three days after rainfall ceases. Risk of cyanobacteria blooms exists but cannot be reliably predicted. Large accumulations of seaweed can pose health risks and extend survival of fecal bacteria. Occasional contamination from glass shards, litter, and chemical pollution may occur.
