Alykes is an artificially modified beach in southern Paphos, Cyprus, with most of its surface covered by concrete. The beach is 170 metres long with an average water depth of 1.5 metres and maximum depth of 3 metres. The shoreline is reinforced with two breakwaters and two perpendicular jetties that have significantly altered natural water circulation and sediment movement. The beach serves approximately 700 swimmers per day during the bathing season.
