Gl. Skagen is a sandy beach with stones and sandy bottom located in northern Denmark. The bathing water profile extends approximately 5 km along the coast, with beach width varying from about 40 to 50 meters. Water depth is approximately 1 meter at 5 meters from shore and 1.5 meters at 10 meters from shore. The water is salt with weak to strong currents from varying directions, predominantly from the southwest. The water is clear with visibility exceeding 1 meter and contains very few or no algae.
